All Saints Day/All Souls Day

All Saints Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 1. Mass with Northside Catholic Academy students will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Mass in English will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Mass in Vietnamese will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. All Souls Day will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2. A bilingual English/Vietnamese Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Mass in English will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Mass in Vietnamese will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. The names of the souls of the faithful departed from the past year of Holy Child Jesus Parish parishioners, family, and friends will be read at these Masses. If you would like your loved one’s name to be read, please call the parish office at (773) 764-0615 or email art.blumberg@hcjp.org. Please specify whether you would like the name to be read at the 8:00 a.m. Mass, the 5:00 p.m. Mass, or the 7:00 p.m. Mass. An ofrenda table will be set up in church to commemorate those who have died. Please bring a framed photograph of your loved one to church or to the parish office between October 24 and November 1 so that we may display and remember that person. Photos will be displayed from November 1 until November 19. They may be picked up at the parish office between November 20 and November 23.
