As we enter this season of gratitude and generosity, we invite you to join our parish in participating in the Harvest of Hope Food Drive in partnership with Catholic Charities. This effort directly responds to the growing number of families facing food insecurity in Cook and Lake Counties, especially in light of recent disruptions to SNAP benefits that have placed added strain on local food pantries.
From November 29 to December 14, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for families in need. A donation bin will be available at the back of the church, and items may also be dropped off at the Rectory Office during regular office hours.
If you feel called to serve, Catholic Charities is seeking volunteers to sort and package food for delivery to their network of food pantries. Your time and helping hands are invaluable. You may sign up here:

For those who prefer to make a financial donation, Catholic Charities aims to raise $500,000 in emergency funds to purchase fresh produce, dairy, and meat for families most in need. Every contribution helps bring Christ’s love and nourishment to our brothers and sisters. You may give securely at:

As always, let us continue to hold in prayer the families we serve, the volunteers who labor with love, and the donors who give generously. May the Lord bless all our efforts and make them fruitful in this season of hope.
