Parish Choir Day of Reflection

Holy Child Jesus Parish warmly invites all choir members—and anyone interested in joining the choir—to a Day of Reflection on Saturday, November 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Convent Community Room.

Theme: Our Purpose in Our Voices

This day will be a beautiful opportunity to pause, pray, and renew our hearts for the sacred ministry of music. Together, we will:

• Deepen our spiritual life as disciples of Christ who lift hearts to God through song.

• Reflect on our roles and responsibilities within the liturgy, guided by the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM).

• Understand the purpose of music in each part of the Holy Mass.

• Reaffirm that our singing is a ministry of prayer and service, not performance.

• Strengthen our unity and shared mission as one choir family.
